Welcome to our Library!
Libraries are an essential resource within NSW public schools to support teaching and learning in the context of syllabus and curriculum requirements.
Kyogle High School library “The Hub” - provides the resources for reading and research in all subject areas, to widen and deepen knowledge and learning.
Our library contains books, films, recorded sound, periodicals, digital media, board games, and a wide range of printed magazine subscriptions as well as a fortnightly delivery of the Koori Mail newspaper. Our extensive library catalogue holds over 4900 items for education, enjoyment, and entertainment. All members of the school community can access these resources.
Online learning: Our library holds 46 laptops for student use and 25 ipads available to borrow. It is host to Distance Education learning programs and online Aurora classes.
Our library is an important resource for individual learning for all students, including senior high school students during study periods. We have separate rooms available for both senior students and teachers to book for individual teaching and learning sessions.
The Teacher Librarian is available to facilitate the use of your library from locating resources to assisting with research. Help can also be given in the use of software applications, or is there if you just need a chat.
The Library Catalogue is available on the web through your portal under "My Library". Develop your library and information skills by selecting "Search Help".
Our photocopier is available free of charge for copying.
